NetSuite and Dell Boomi position in Pittsburgh






ERP / PLM Administrator / Analyst


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (perfect person has Netsuite and Dell Boomi)


The ERP / PLM Administrator / Analyst will be the primary administrator of our ERP, PLM and Boomi factory integration solution.  The duties will also including being an analyst for the data and processes within Netsuite as well as the BI tool that supports it.  This role also includes being the primary admin / owner of the factory data integration tool (Dell Boomi) as well as the data files that feed from our subcons into the ERP.  Finally, this role will also have admin duties on our PLM tool.


Netsuite Admin Duties


  • Primary administrator of Netsuite ERP (will have to take Netsuite Admin / essentials training)
  • Owner of SuiteFlow / SuiteScripting solutions (will have to take training as needed) which encompasses automation / customization of the solution for Akustica
  • Work with LOG / AKUS team to implement (customize) business solutions in the ERP as needed
  • Understand the full Akustica ERP / Enterprise system architecture and impacts on the architecture from new requests, issues, and technology changes
  • Document the ERP processes


Analyst Duties


  • Admin of Akustica data architecture BI tool / solutions within Netsuite
  • Capture and analyze production data as needed by LOG / the business
  • Work with LOG team / AKUS Mgt to establish appropriate operations performance metrics
  • Work with FIN / LOG team to investigate errors / anomalies
  • Customize dashboards as needed for the business


Factory Data Integration Duties


  • Admin of Dell Boomi SaaS / iPaaS middleware interface
  • Analyze nightly runs of the integration / research errors
  • Improve the process / work flows with the LOG team as changes happen – new factories, new technology, new processes
  • Work with the factories directly on data errors / anomalies if the data has been compromised or if new solutions need to be developed that change the factory data process or SLA
  • Work with Dell Boomi consultants as needed
  • Document the data integration processes




PLM Duties


  • Administrator of our PLM tool
  • Working to modify / implement / document business processes within the tool as the organization needs
  • Tool encompasses the following topics:
    • Product Development – Projects, Item and BOM, Tasks
    • Engineering work requests to facilities
    • Work Requests - (soon to be named Systems Engineering, Kurt / Todd own this)
    • Change Management - Change Orders
    • Approved Vendor Lists
    • Quality - Lessons Learned and document management





This position directly impacts the quality of products, processes, and/or systems.  Therefore, within their area of competence, associates are authorized and expected to:


·         Initiate necessary actions to prevent nonconformities, which could include shutting down equipment and stopping supplier manufacturing lines and internal processes

·         Identify and record non-conformities associated with vendor or internal operations/procedural failures

·         Monitor solution implementations to verify effectiveness of changes/corrective actions

·         Standardize implementations to avoid further nonconformities






Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

·         BS Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing engineering or Computer Science / Information Technology is required

·         Advanced Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Information Technology is preferred but not required

·         Minimum of 3 of experience in industry required



·         Strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP tool is required

·         Strong knowledge of Autodesk PLM tool is required

·         Strong knowledge of Dell Boomi tool for factory integrations with an ERP system (aka NetSuite) is required

·         Experience with semiconductor factory line management practices using resource optimization/deployment tools in conjunction with Kanban or other lean, just-in-time systems

·         Familiar with relational database design and use of queries, BI Tools, dashboards, etc.

·         Experience owning / rolling out large scale enterprise systems
